The industry of kibble was pioneered roughly sixty years ago when the military developed a convenient food with a long shelf life for their dogs. Today that dry kibble is
what most people believe to be best for their dogs. Before that, dogs ate what we call “people food” and in most countries around the world, they still do!
Recently, people have discovered the alarming fact that most of this food is filled with chemicals, preservatives and unnecessary additives. In some cases, diseased animals and animals that have been deemed unsuitable for human consumption also comprise this mix. Sadly, while there are some kibble manufacturers that make a very good product that is safe and healthy for your pet, there are many more that don’t.
